Chai Veggie Smoothie



kale smoothies that tastes good.


Grab a handful of kale out of the freezer.  Throw in 1 pre-peeled frozen banana.  Grate in a little piece of frozen ginger.
In goes a teaspoon of pre-blended spice mix and a couple more things.
Throw in a little carrot if you see one lying around.  
Blend.
Throw on a daisy lid.
Wake up.
Drink. 



Chai Veggie Smoothie Recipe


2 handfuls (about 2 packed cups) of organic baby spinach, kale and/or bok choy
1 Tbsp of Peanut butter or a handful of cashews
1 very ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
1 tsp of chai spice mix* (see directions below)
About 1 tsp of grated frozen ginger
1 cup of ice
3/4 cup of rice/almond or coconut milk.
A few drops of stevia




* Chai Spice Mix:

kale smoothies that tastes good.3 Tbsp ground cinnamon
3 Tbsp of ground ginger
1 Tbsp ground cardamom
1 tsp of ground cloves
1 tsp of ground nutmeg
Add one star anise (remember not to eat it!)
Store in a mason jar.
Use 1 tsp per smoothie
